The flag-off of the construction of the 1068km Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway – a Renewed Hope Legacy project of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency,President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is scheduled to hold in Sokoto State today, 24th October 2024 . The Honourable Minister of Works,His Excellency,Sen Engr Nweze David Umahi CON is being accompanied by the Chairman and members of the Senate Committee on Works as well as the Chairman and members of the Federal House of Representatives Committee on Works, the Honourable Minister of State Works ,Barr. Muhammad Bello Goronyo and other dignitaries from Federal Government.
The Governor of Sokoto State,His Excellency, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, Ph.D,FCNA is expected to perform the flag-off ceremony on behalf of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
