The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, on Monday, November 25, rolls out achievements of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federatio under her watch in the last 100 days.

HCSF promises more reforms for continued developmental strides for Nigeria’s Federal Civil Service.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja, Walson-Jack outlined programs designed to improve public service delivery’s creativity, accountability, and effectiveness.

In her first 100 days, Walson-Jack represented Nigeria at the UN General Assembly, where she reiterated the nation’s commitment to eradicating poverty and enhancing food security.

She established competitions to foster innovation in the civil service and spearheaded efforts to align the federal and state civil services.

Walson-Jack expressed gratitude for the support received and reaffirmed her commitment to creating a professional, globally competitive Civil Service.

She declared the start of programs aimed at modernizing the civil service.

The Federal Civil Service Online Academy was established to upskill civil servants, a Performance Management System was introduced to encourage accountability, and the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system was implemented throughout key MDAs to increase operational efficiency.

GovMail, an official civil servant email platform, and an online circulars compilation were also introduced to facilitate communication.

The distribution of the Federal Civil Service Anthem and a Culture Change Video to encourage pride and professionalism among civil servants, she disclosed, has been a focal point of cultural transformation.

Understanding the value of welfare, Walson-Jack launched programs to raise civil servants’ standard of living.

Partnering with the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation to offer new hires better onboarding programs and reduced priced credit.

The work of transforming the Federal Civil Service is a continuous process, one that requires dedication, collaboration, and resilience.

“Together, we can build a civil service that is innovative, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the people,” she said as she proudly counted her 100 days achievement.
