RIFAN Backs Abolore’s Redeployment, Hails Kwara Govt’s Commitment to Agriculture

The Kwara State chapter of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) has endorsed the redeployment of Dr. Afeez Abolore as Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, describing the move as a step towards boosting the state’s agricultural sector.

In a statement, RIFAN State Coordinator, Mallam Mohammed Salihu, commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his strategic governance approach, noting that Dr. Abolore’s leadership would further enhance food production and security in the state.

“Dr. Abolore possesses the expertise and vision to transform the agricultural sector. His experience from the Ministry of Solid Minerals will be instrumental in repositioning the ministry for greater efficiency,” Salihu stated.

The association urged the commissioner to leverage his past economic initiatives to drive productivity in the sector. It also pledged full support for his administration, promising to collaborate with him to strengthen the agricultural value chain and improve farmers’ welfare in Kwara.
