Heads of State-Owned Institutions Visit Reappointed Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic

In a gesture of solidarity, the Committee of Heads of State-Owned Institutions in Kwara State has congratulated the reappointed Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, during a courtesy visit to the polytechnic’s main campus in Ilorin.

Led by the Chairman of the Committee, Prof. Aremu Mukaila Ayanda, who also serves as the Provost of Kwara State College of Education, Oro, the delegation commended Dr. Abdul’s contributions to technical education during his previous tenure.

Prof. Mukaila praised the Rector’s leadership, saying, “We are here to show our support and to offer our prayers for your success in this new chapter. Your leadership has already made a significant impact on the polytechnic, and we are confident that you will continue to elevate the standards of education in Kwara State.”

In his response, Engr. Abdul expressed gratitude for the visit and emphasized the need for collaboration among state-owned institutions to address challenges in the education sector.

He also highlighted the ongoing efforts of Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq in improving education standards across the state, pledging his commitment to maintaining partnerships that enhance learning and innovation.

The visit concluded with a special prayer session for Dr. Abdul, seeking divine guidance and strength as he leads Kwara State Polytechnic into a new phase of development.
