FG To Launch Data Center For Citizens’ Biography and more.

Before May 29, 2024, the Federal Government plans to open a cutting-edge data center with the capacity to store up to 1.4 petabytes of data. A wide variety of vital national data, including biographical information about the citizens, will be stored in this data center.

On Monday, May 20, 2024, at his Abuja office, Interior Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo made this declaration to a delegation of the National Union of Nigerian Associations in Italy (NUNAI), which was led by Chief Rowland Ndukuba, the organization’s president.

The Minister emphasized the value of embracing innovation and technology and emphasized that new and innovative technological solutions are needed to address today’s problems. He went on to say that incorporating cutting-edge technology would improve accountability and efficiency throughout all national operations.

Dr. Tunji-Ojo promised that the requests from NUNAI for assistance, cooperation, and the creation of passport front offices would be thoroughly considered and that pertinent information would be shared when it was ready.
