To improve efficient service delivery and socioeconomic developmental goals in the best interests of the country as a whole, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, is dedicated to making sure that there is the necessary synergy and harmonious working relationship between the Office of the Honorable Ministers, who represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Civil Servants.

On July 23, 2024, in Abuja, she revealed this information at a one-day sensitization workshop for senior ministerial aides.

The HoSF declared, through Dr. Deborah Odoh, Permanent Secretary for Service Policy and Strategies Office (SPSO), that the sensitization workshop was required to guarantee the nation’s complete implementation of Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The nation is at a critical juncture in its national development trajectory, and it is our duty to assist those in positions of leadership and guarantee that the critically important policies and programs are carried out effectively and efficiently to safeguard the future we envision for our dear nation,” she asserted.

According to Dr. Yemi-Esan, the sensitization workshop has been created to enhance the ability of each Ministry to support the accomplishment of its mandate, strategic objectives, and targets.

The Public Procurement Act, revised Public Service Rules, Financial Regulations, Ethical Codes of Conduct, and Public Service, Administrative Procedure, and Management Reforms are among the key areas that, in accordance with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, are anticipated to be covered by highly qualified and carefully selected resource persons, Dr. Yemi-Esan continued.

She emphasized once more that the workshop will provide participants with the knowledge they need to direct their daily activities and promote a cordial working relationship between ministerial aides and civil servants.

The main objective of the sensitization workshop is to foster collaboration and enhance workplace harmony in order to maximize productivity within the Service, according to the Director of Organization and Development (ODD) at the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Mimi Abu, who made this statement in her Welcome Address.

In order to ensure that stakeholders follow the guiding principles for efficient service delivery, she called for cooperative efforts.
