DG NILDS Hails Kwara Governor on Legacy Projects Commissioned by First Lady

The Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman, has described the recently inaugurated Kwara State legacy projects as “unprecedented,” commending Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for their successful completion.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, by his Media Adviser, Mohammad Abdulkadri, Professor Sulaiman congratulated the governor on the landmark projects, which were conceived, executed, and inaugurated under the Renewed Hope Initiative.

He praised key projects, including the multi-billion-naira Civil Service Clinic named after Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the Tanke and Unity flyovers named after the late Major General Babatunde Idiagbon and the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, as well as the ultramodern Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (KWASUTH).

The NILDS DG also commended the warm reception accorded to the First Lady during her three-day visit, describing it as a “never-to-be-forgotten experience” for the people of Kwara.
